Paweł worked for many years, gaining experience in a woodcarving shop run by Tomasz Olszewski, as well as working in a non-ferrous metal foundry in Warsaw.

He was a Fellow of the Polish-Egyptian ancient islamic art Mission in Egypt.

For the last few years he has been sculpting mainly in wood. Abstract totemic forms, ask the question whether, we as humans, are linked to our mystical animal and|or floral ancestor. Their form oscillates from an emphatic geometry to gentle organic shapes, occasionally finding a synthesis between these two different sides of the coin. The dichotomy (division) between abstraction and portraying, and also geometrical and organic forms relating to totemic figures, is a cross-reference to the condition of a person, torn between culture(art) and nature, who is constantly pursuing(looking for) the reasons of his existance, and asking questions
about its source.
